Music Programs
Providing both social interaction and an opportunity to be a part of the worship service, the music programs offered at Lake Street Church provide a wealth of opportunities for singers and musicians of all abilities.
Chancel
Choir
This group provides the backbone of music for our Sunday worship services, singing a wide variety of sacred pieces. Rehearsals are in the Choir Room on Wednesdays from 7-9 pm and in the Sanctuary on Sundays at 8:45 am.
Concert Choir
This choir performs several major concerts each year and is the core ensemble for the yearly Daniel Jones Memorial Fund Concert. We also participate in joint events with other area church choirs.
Men’s Choir
The Men’s Choir meets one Sunday of each month at noon in the Choir Room. Men of all ages who like to sing in close harmony are encouraged to join. This group provides music for the worship service several times during the program year, and again in the summer.
Specialty Ensembles
Drawing on the diverse interests and talents of our congregation, Lake Street Church offers the opportunity for specialty ensembles to perform on occasion.
Crystal Ringers
Our tone-chime choir is for all ages, children and adults. Led by Carol Watkins, it includes instruction on tone-chime technique and basic music theory. Join us in the Choir Room from 9:30-10:15 am on Sundays. For more information, call Carol at (847) 847-7163.
